A VALENTINE'S DAY FOR ALL TYPES OF LOVE

Contrary to what Coca Cola led us to believe, Valentine’s Day began as a celebration of love in every way: from universal love to affective love to everything else. And, to be honest, that’s the love I like the most.

No more boxes of chocolates, bouquets of flowers, or romantic dinners. I’m sure you’ve noticed but we have sistematically replicated the trend of celebrating Valentine’s Day as in movies, that is, a holiday that only matters to those who are dating someone.

What about those who don’t have a partner? Don’t they have a life full of love? Of course they do, but this “lovers’ celebration” doesn’t recognize them.

Love is one of the best things in the world and it is a missed opportunity not to celebrate it anymore all year round. Valentine’s Day has the potential to be a day of love, affection and also of passion. As I said before, this holiday was born to celebrate all kinds of love, which are many.

And I say, let’s celebrate Valentine’s Day as it was meant to be for the people of today and tomorrow:

Call your bestie on the phone and tell him/her how important he is to you. Give your ex a call, tell him/her that you will still be very fond of them until the day you die.

Tell that couple of friends once and for all that you always have a great time together, but that you can’t stop thinking that with them couple of three could work.

Surprise your parents and take them to dinner. Remind them how much you love them, and don’t play hard to get with them, after all, without them you wouldn’t even be here.

Dare! Tell that person once and for all that you like her/him and that you love their style. You know who I’m talking about. Maybe nothing will come of it, but that love you feel, you have to let it out.

Do you love your job? Then organize an afterwork with your colleagues, don’t be a rat. And, while we’re at it, why don’t you fake a gastroenteritis to spend the day with your dog? Dogs are true unconditional love.

Let’s bring Valentine’s Day back to the village. Let’s call it Valiant’s Day (brave’s day) if we have to. Anita loves you and is open to all types of loves you have to celebrate. Our contribution is 2 special menus to share – vegetarian or omnivorous – in addition to our usual delicious menu.

Let’s make this February 14th a day to remember. Besides, it falls on a Friday, so if you do well you can have a whole weekend dedicated to love and affection 😉 Reservations are open:

We love Love so much here at Anita 💙 that we want celebrate with all of you. Happy Valentine’s Day, my dears.
